Biography

Emma was trained in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Street Dance and Choreography skills. She graduated as a Professional Dance Artist from Telford College in Edinburgh. Emma has extensive experience as a teacher, choreographer and professional performer and has performed alongside internationally-known artists on the global stage.

Having been in the commercial dance industry for 17 years, Emma believes the combination of passion, work ethic, determination and fun is the key to achieving results in training and performing. After spending many years between Scotland and Dubai as a Choreographer, Dance Instructor, Performer and Event Coordinator; she has now settled in Singapore as the Performing Arts Instructor and Co-Founder of The Dance Place.

Emma’s professional performing career has led her to work, collaborate and meet with many different artists and public figures such as: Kanye West, Chris Brown, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Akon, Kelly Rowland, Joss Stone, Mika, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Nancy Ajram, Dania Al Khatib amongst others.

Her career has also led her to coordinate and manage world level events such as the Dubai World Cup where for 3 years, she managed the performances of this significant global event. As key entertainment organizer, she has worked with many well-known choreographers and companies such as: Yanis Marshall, Laurieann Gibson, Gil Duldulao, Kenny Wormald, Blake McGrath, Tony Stone, Stuttgart Ballet, Hani Abaza, amongst others.

Emma has a huge passion for the arts in general and believes that there is no limit or boundaries to the development of the arts and creativity.
