Regina Joyce Toyad

Regina is a Registered Teacher and Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (UK). She is also certified in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum (Pre-Primary to Level 3), a Certified 4Pointe Level 1 Teacher, and a licensed Silver Swans instructor.

Beginning her ballet journey at the age of four, Regina developed a strong foundation in classical ballet while expanding her training across contemporary, jazz, and Latin ballroom. She has performed in classical productions including Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Slave Princess and Fairy Doll in collaboration with Arts Ballet Theater Florida (USA).

Her professional experience includes performing with Kuala Lumpur Dance Theatre and Balletbase, as well as appearing in dance festivals and productions across Malaysia, Indonesia, Mongolia and China. Her stage credits include Dancing in Place, Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival (2016 & 2018), Dancebox, WWF Art for Nature, and the Malaysia International Shoe Festival 2012.

Since beginning her teaching career in 2015, Regina has been dedicated to inspiring dancers of all ages through thoughtful and supportive instruction. She believes that dance is for everyone, and that with passion and perseverance, anyone can discover the joy of movement. This belief lies at the heart of everything she teaches.
